RylieMay Rescue Ranch
Residents
Meet the dogs that have made the ranch their final home!
Rylie
Rylie is our namesake and the OG dog around here. she was rescued when she was 4 months old and has packed a lot into her 16 years. She loves all dogs and people, used to be the ultimate at chasing squirrels, and is now enjoying her slower paced life as she continues to age gracefully.
Gus
There is just so much to say about this good boy. He was also rescued as a puppy from Three Rivers Humane Society. Despite being a huge dog who can look intimidating, Gus lives with a lot of fear and anxiety. Things like butterflies, balloons, and lemons top his list of scariest objects. Despite these fears, he LOVES to run and play fetch and loves hanging out on the couch.
Stanley
After getting a ride on a transport from a high kill shelter in Texas, Stanley was adopted at the age of 8. You will never meet a dog who loves humans and belly rubs more than Stanley. Stanley loves to sniff and explore his surroundings but if there are hands around that could be scratching him then everything else around him stops.
Clifford
Clifford came to us at the age of 20 (twenty!!!) to live out the rest of his golden years. Clifford was a loved pet but sadly, his owner died and the family was not in a position to care for Clifford. Clifford is blind and deaf but loves snuggling up in a warm bed and following the other dogs around. Clifford peacefully made his way to the rainbow bridge on February 5th, 2024.
Zeus
Zeus came to us at 11 years old after spendings roughly 10 years in a crate. He has some arthritis that hasn't slowed him down. He LOVES toys, swimming, and getting brushed for hours on end. We are so grateful to give him to life he has always deserved. Zeus crossed the rainbow bridge on 6/6/2024.
Keegan
Keegan was brought to the ranch after spending 7 years on a chain. He has a ton of anxiety around new people and places but the longer he is here, the more his hilarious personality comes out. Keegan is very michevious and thinks everything is a toy for him to destroy. Welcome home, Keegan!
Cinnabon
After being dumped at a nearby shelter, shelter staff noticed that Cinnabon was losing weight quickly and unexpectedly. After many tests it was found that at only 4 years old, she has cancer. Seeing her story we knew we needed to bring Cinnabon home so she could have a soft place to stay while we figure out what is the best course of action for her. She is living her best life currently and you would have no idea she is sick other than being really skinny. So grateful to get to take care of her and keep her comfortable and loved.
